A blog post about Miró exhibition

I visited the Miró exhibition at the BAM in Mons.

What struck me in the exhibition was the abstract dimension at the art works. At the beginning, I could easily understand what Joan Miró wanted to represent, but as the exhibition progressed, I could no longer make the connection between the idea and its representation. I was suprised by the diversity on the colours in his paintings.

Joan Miró’s aim was to break the codes and I think he succeeded.
