Discovering the exhibition

Just before a short week of vacation, I was able to visit with the courses, the Jean Jullien exhibition. This exhibition took place in the Mima Museum, in Brussel. If I had to give you a few words to describe what I saw, it would be : colorful sweet and nostalgic.

I really enjoyed this exhibition because I understood each work that was presented to us. In addition, I found his style super pleasant and simple, without fuss. I managed to understand everything even though I a guide who spoke in English and that’s not my cup of thea though !

Following this exhibition, I had to write a short text for my English class, during an assessment.

This is what I wrote :

« I liked this exhibition because Jean Jullien’s style is really captivating and some experience strong a nostalgic feelings. The only one’s I didn’t like were those in comic style. But otherwise, I think it was a great experience and Jean Jullien’s art work does not require any background to understand them. Overall, this visit was cool and my favorite painting is the one with a little boy in a garden. »
