Joan Miro

Joan Miro exhibition

I visited the Miró exhibition at https://www.bam.mons.be/ and I can share my feeling with you.

Firstly, the exhibition was well arranged, we could follow his works and the research chronologically. Unfortunately I found it very long.

Miro fot a lot of inspiration from the fauvism movement and the cubist movement in can be see in these works.

The works "la plage" and "le pont" are inspired by fauvism and "Nord sud" by cubism.
La plage, 1917, Joan Miro
Le pont, 1917, Joan Miro
Nord sud, 1917, Joan Miro
Sans titre, 1973, Joan Miro

For some works and researches, I don’t agree with his thought, especially with the works that he decided to burn in order to give a soul to it.
