Story of an illustration exhibition in Brussels

On 27th October I visted Studiolo, the Mima museum exhibition by french artist Jean Julien.

I’ve liked the exhibition, it was original, whether the content of the exhibition or the space in which it was presented.

Like I said, the space where it was presented was original: it was in all the Mima musuem but we were close to paintings or other works of art, it was different from others musuems, which are boring and dusty.

About the piece of work I liked the most, it was a series of paintings about a wave and a person surfing on it. I loved it because it was a landscape but painted in portrait format. Jean Julien went againts the codes of art and that’s why I liked it.
