I liked a lot of Jean Julien’s work but the ones I liked the most were the ones they captured in photos and then reproduced in painting. They were often photos with beautiful landscapes/scenery so it was easy to identify with the memories as if we had experienced it ourselves. These works plunge us into childhood memories similar to these works and it warms our hearts it’s comforting
