I have mixed feelings about the Miro exhibition because I didn’t really know Joan Miro and I asked myself a lot of questions about these works. These works are very abstract, childish and also sometimes dark. During the exhibition, I liked to learn more about this artist and I learned that when Miro arrived in Paris in 1919, he didn’t have a lot of money and he only ate once a day. His hunger caused him hallucinations which was represented in his works, which explains why most of his works are so abstract, childish, dark and complicated to understand during this period.
