Bonjour à tous, aujourd’hui je vous retrouve pour un article peut-être un peu différent de d’habitude. Puisque cet article sera majoritairement écrit en anglais. En effet, dans le cadre de mon cours d’anglais, il nous a été demandé par groupe de 4 élèves, d’analyser et de décrire 5 images. Ces images devaient dans l’ensemble avoir la même ambiance, vous allez normalement vite le remarquer.
Ce n’est pas la première fois que je réalise un article dans cette langue. En effet, dans ma première publication concernant l’exposition du peintre Joan Miró, j’avais déjà écrit un passage en anglais.

Mon travail
Première image
In the picture we can see a girl from the back by the sea. She’s in the foreground. In the background we can see the sky, the sea, and a beautiful sunset. On the left of the picture there is a bridge with a group of people on it. The girl is also on the bridge, she wears a little black dress, and has a bun. The mood of the photo is quite dark, so I guess it was taken in the evening. I suppose it was in summer from the way people are dressed. It’s a medium shot because we see the subject from the waist up and it’s a neutral angle.
Deuxième image
This is the second picture. We see a girl from the back. She’s in the foreground. I suppose that it was not warm because she wears a big black coat and a grey sweatshirt. The picture is taken from a neutral angle ant this is a long shot because we see the head, the feet of the person and the environment.
Troisième image
We see a girl from her back in the middle of the beach with a sexy pose. We can also see the reflection of the girl in the water. I guess this picture was taken in the summer. It was a sunny day. It’s a wide shot, so we can all see the surroundings around the girl. And it’s an eye-level angle.
Quatrième image
In the picture we see two girls who are looking towards the beach. Their outfits are matching. We also see that they are friends thanks to their pose : they are close to each other. Behind them we see the beautiful sunset. It’s a medium shot who shows people together. And it’s an eye-level angel.
Cinquième image
In the photo, we can see a girl from her back sitting on the rocks. This girl has a bun, glasses, and she wears earrings. In the background, we see the sea and after, the city in the distance. There is a sunset in the sky. I guess the photo was taken during the summer. It’s a wide shot because we can see all the environment around her and it’s a low angle.
Voilà, j’espère que ce concept de décrire des images, et ce en anglais vous aura plus. Personnellement, j’ai adoré faire cet exercice qui allie le secteur de la publicité, de la photographie, et des langues. C’est parfait pour mon futur métier (secteur de la publicité). J’accepte bien évidemment toutes les critiques constructives.
Petite astuce si vous cherchez un traducteur, rendez-vous plutôt sur Reverso que google traduction par exemple.
